Why?

Why is it that society considers it OK for women to wear open toed shoes and flip-flops in the work place, but requires men to reserve such freedom for nights and weekends? Oh the inequity of the situation! And oh the bliss my feet will now enjoy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

(the flip-flops that is)

Don't even get me started about the inequity of proper business attire.

I'm quite certain it's because guys don't get or like pedicures. We, as women, like to have pretty toes. Ergo: We can wear open toed stuff. The End.

So you are saying that if I get a pedicure then it would be alright for me to wear flip-flops to the office? =)

Haha, the day you get a pedicure...I will take a picture of you in flip flops at the office. Gotta preserve that memory before you get fired =)

Ahem.

Spend a day pointy-toed three-inch heels, and THEN you can complain about the inequality of socially acceptable footwear.
